First Nations Early Learning and Child Care Conference 2026
Presented by Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs
Indigenous Inclusive Education was proud to attend the 2026 First Nations Early Learning and Child Care (FNELCC) Conference hosted by the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs on February 24–25 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
This annual gathering brought together early childhood educators, program coordinators, community leaders, and Knowledge Keepers from across Manitoba. The focus was on strengthening early learning and child care for First Nations children. The conference created a meaningful space to share knowledge, build relationships, and support the well-being of our youngest learners through culturally grounded approaches.
We felt it was important to connect with early learning and child care educators who work directly with young children every day. Their work plays a key role in helping children grow, learn, and feel confident in who they are. It is important to us that our products align with their goals and support the needs they see in their classrooms and programs.
Throughout the conference, we had the opportunity to connect with educators about inclusive education and share how our products support the needs of young learners. We were grateful to listen, learn, and exchange ideas with so many passionate professionals dedicated to nurturing the growth and confidence of First Nations children.
We are grateful to have been part of this gathering and thank the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs for hosting such a meaningful event. We look forward to continuing to support early learning programs and the children and families they serve.
